5ment is based on xinu, an application written by Miquel Camps Orteza and published under the Creative Commons Atribución 2.5 España License. This application should show backlinks, pagreank and some other statistics of a domain on a perfect overview. The appication xinu was developed on "Dragable RSS boxes" and shows all relevant information in special AJAX-boxes.

5ment is available in three languages, german, english and spanish. The language is not only to show the language, as well it is to show only the relevant results from the relevant pages of the chosen country for the social bookmarking pages and search engines.

Another important thing is the difference between pages with www and without www. There might be a big difference in the result.

XHTML: Validation of the XHTML-Code. First on validator.w3.org and then on www.validome.org if the first one is not working or gives no result. Shows as well the number of errors. √

CSS: Validation of the CSS Stylesheets on jigsaw.w3.org. Shows as well the number of errors. √

RSS: Validation of RSS Feeds on validator.w3.org/feed.

Checks the page for some small things and gives a ranking between 1 and 10.

URL: Shows the URL and gives a ranking about the number of characters. √

Title: Shows the title and gives a ranking about the number of words. √

Keywords: Shows the keywords and gives a ranking about the number of kwywords. √

Description: Shows the description and gives a ranking about the number of words. √

HTML size: Shows the HTML size. √

IP: Shows the domain-IP. √

Time Online: Shows the online time of the website. This is not really correct, but gives a minimum time, since the website is online, not the domain. First asking www.webconfs.com and www.alexa.com, and then showing the oldest of them. Only shows the first activity of the domain, not the domain name register date. √

Author: Shows the owner of the domain. Uses Alexa API. √

Country: Shows the country where the IP is located. √

Everything what is marked with check (√) was tested with different websites and should work to 99%. If not, please let me know and I can try to fix the problem. If you have some other advices, just tell me and I will do my best to do that.

If there ist no check (√) this doesn't mean, that it is not working. It only means, that I havn't checked it and ca't say if it is ok or not. Maybe it's working perfect.
